Since June 15th, 2026, we are established as an official ‘stichting’ (foundation) at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. As such, we are required to publish certain information on our website, which you will find here (also in Dutch).

Doelen van de organisatie / Goals of the organisation
Stichting Don’t Go We Will Fund Them (DGWWFT) heeft als hoofddoel het ondersteunen van crowdfunding-campagnes vanuit de Nederlandse trans gemeenschap. Hiertoe werft de stichting donaties, met een focus op kleine, maandelijkse donaties door particulieren, hoewel andere donaties (zoals donaties vanuit bedrijven, fondsen, en fundraisers) ook welkom zijn, en keert de stichting maandelijks donaties uit aan openstaande crowdfunding-campagnes. Secundair dient de stichting het doel van verdere bewustwording van de problemen die trans personen ervaren omtrent toegang tot (medische) zorg.
Stichting Don’t Go We Will Fund Them (DGWWFT)’s primary goal is to support crowdfunding campaigns from the trans community in the Netherlands. To achieve this goal, DGWWFT raises money through donations, with a particular focus on small, monthly donations by individual donors, although other donations are also welcomed (i.e. corporate donations, funding, and donations through fundraisers). DGWWFT donates to ongoing crowdfunding campaigns on a monthly basis. Secondarily, DGWWFT serves a goal of furthering public awareness of the problems trans people experience in gaining access to (medical) care.

Bestuur en belolining / Board and renumeration
Het dagelijkse reilen en zeilen van DGWWFT is in handen van een driekoppig bestuur. Geen van hen ontvangt hiervoor een vergoeding, noch enig vacatiegeld voor vergaderingen. Eventuele onkosten worden in overleg vergoed.
The day-to-day management of DGWWFT is in hands of a three-person board. None of us are renumerated for this work, nor do we receive renumeration for meetings. Costs made for the stichting can be compensated in agreement.

Funders
DGWWFT runs almost entirely on private donors, for which we are extremely grateful. The majority of our funding comes from individual contributions of €5 to €10 per month, which come together to make a huge difference. Join us now!
Our formalisation as a ‘stichting’, which included costs for notaries, banks, et cetera, has been separately funded by a grant from COC Nederland’s ‘Respect2Love‘ fund. We welcome further funding from corporate or charitable streams to maintain our administration costs and allow us to spend as much as possible of our monthly donations from private donors to our primary goal: crowdfunding campaigns from the trans community.
